Markfield Road Festival is a free festival celebrating creatives through art, music and discussion. Based in South Tottenham, London, the three-day festival, launched in September 2022 and is organised by Gaunson Creative Studios with The Cove, Ten87 and Unit 3.
Activities in 2022 include Gaunson Creative Open Studios (which have been running for over 20 years), Art In The Yard, live music & performance, panel discussions on music, art & creativity, film screenings, food & bar, a carnival workshop and procession with Earlsmead Primary School, children’s activities and more. I support with organisation of the festival, the open studios event (where 70 artists exhibit work) and panel talks at The Cove. I work on marketing and comms for the festival, build, design and updates of the festival website and design and create the flyer, logo and social media artwork. I also oversee panel talks and music across the weekend, host speakers and musicians, and provide support to festival staff across the festival and bars.
