Markfield Road Festival is a free festival celebrating creatives through art, music and discussion. Based in South Tottenham, London, the three-day festival, launched in September 2022 and is organised by Gaunson Creative Studios with The Cove, Ten87 and Unit 3.
Activities in 2022 included Gaunson Creative Open Studios (which have been running for over 20 years), Art In The Yard, live music & performance, panel discussions on music, art & creativity, film screenings, food & bar, a carnival workshop and procession with Earlsmead Primary School, children’s activities and more. I supported with organisation of the festival, the open studios event (where 70 artists exhibited work) and panel talks at The Cove. I worked on marketing and comms for the festival, built and designed the festival website and designed and created the flyer, logo and social media artwork. I also ran the panel talks over the weekend and hosted our speakers, and supported staff across the festival and bars.
